Read this before thinking/saying anything: (sorry for my bad english, I'm trying my best. If you don't understand something, ask me.)
So I told you that I was going to give you more informations about Sunburn City and it's surroundings. But first, I need to start by giving you the whole map of the "Earth". Next time I'm gonna do a map zoomed in Sinad. Or at least Sunburn City's surroundings. Next, I will do the map of the city itself. These are kinda hard to do since I have to make sure that all details match up with what I drew, told and/or scientific/climatic/historical logics.
I know it looks like a fucked up version of the earth map, you can recognize somehow some of existing continents like a reversed australia and a flooded Africa, Europe and Asia. Why did I do that if I could simply create new continents from scrap? Well, here comes the problem: I do NOT want to take a whole year to figure out how oceanic currents would influence on climates, and I want some cities to be inside a certain type of biome. Also civilization history. I want some types of countries to be more rich than others. I do not want people to tell me "omg it's impossible to have jungles on that area" so I took the default Earth map that I customized. The last reason is that some of my characters share some countries/civilizations traits, like Chris who is supposed to be egyptian/irakian, Nadia is supposed to be russian, Gimso is supposed to be Scottish, Isaac is supposed to be a middle-age english plague doctor, Jayce has somehow a modified french marine outfit, Clyde is supposed to have a morroccan mother and a portugese father, etc...
So I just created some countries that are somehow a "clone" of existant ones. Like Svitz is supposed to be a clone-like of Switzerland or, another example, Tayio is a clone-like of Japan. Also note that all the countries here share a modified name of something that actually means something in their language... or sounds like it means something. (like I don't know if France means something in french but it sounds french y'a know?).
Also if you want more details on the map, different versions like a oceanic currents map, a religion map, a language map, etc... tell me. It might be interesting to do.
Note that the only two places that does not have civilizations or at least _modern_ civilizations (might be tribes, you never know), is Kyce, an antarctic-like country and Bozon, a volcanic island covered in a thick jungle. Also it kinda looks like an amplified jungle generation from minecraft. (google it!)
Around the world you can also easily find famous real landmarks like easter island's moais, pyramids, the eiffel tower, etc...
Something I also want to say is that Sinad is NOT a clone-like of the USA. Well first they speak english AND french there. Sinad is like a mix between american and european culture (city types, cars, buildings, roads, food, etc...). That means that Sunburn City is NOT somehow american nor european.
Well... none of these cities are but if you have to imagine Sunburn City in the real world, you'll have to create a continent between Europe and North America to place it.
That's it for now. Next drawing will feature your favorite schizophrenic dolphin! Jayce! Stay tuned!
Also if you have any questions about this planet, please ask them! I'll answer them as soon as possible.
